The Installations

These are the verses that were used by artists for inspiration to create works for the exhibition.

1 Mary anoints Jesus for burial - John 12:3

Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

2 Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem - Matthew 21:8-10

A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!" 3 Jesus institutes the Lord's supper - Mark 14:22-24

5 The great high priestly prayer - John 17:20-21

10 Jesus is mocked and beaten - Isaiah 53:

11 Jesus is helped by Simon of Cyrene - Luke 23:26

12 Jesus talks to the women - Luke 27:27-29
